our last dance training

today's the last dance training we're having before our grand finale at the esplanade. training was cool as we get to rehearse the whole routine. quite afraid that our performance is going to be screwed up that day as today is already the last training and some crew members which also includes me tends to forget some of the steps.

if that day i really do screwed up, i would just freestyle already. freestyle is way so easy for me. there's reporters from the chinese newspaper and and some directors of the performance came to view the training. my friend got interviewed.

after the training, the director came up to me and offered to give me an extra choreograph and invited me over for a personal dance training. training with professional choreographers. of course i would accept. meeting them in monday at paragon.

went to far east to shop with one of my crew member. bought stuffs for the performance itself. trained home after that.

teachers day celebration~ '07

31st september 07, friday


its teachers day concert today. woke up early today. had a real fcuking bad dream. shared it with hanlin and yixian. then quickly got prepared, dressed up, styled hair, did wadever to be done. bused to central, meet hanlin in central to buy our props first. after purchasing, walked to peicai, with anticipation towards the concert.

had our final rehearsal, everything was fine and nicely done. hoping nothing would go wrong, as we had practiced so hard and getting so dead tired after every practice. spending money and money booking dance studio for practice, walking around hunting for places to practice when studio's closed, tolerated the surroundings every night we practiced at serangoon central where is so damn hot and i could just perspired like hell while doing light warming up. after practiced for so late, had to cabbed home every single night.

finally today's the day, the day we show everything we learned and practiced. as the crowd starts to come in one by one, nervousness feels our heart. it is a mentally battle inside us. fighting against the nervousness.

last but not least, special thanks to my dance partner, best twin brother, best twin bastards, YEO HAN LIN for everything, committing to this dance, continued to stay even after so much stressed and troubles happened, sacrificing beauty sleeps to wake up early than usual to meet up for practice, choreographing some the steps and many many many more, so much to thank for.

well, its time for our performance. we could hear screams and people supporting, shouting of names etc. was getting into our position until the music starts to play. everything you can see from the video above.

after concert, i was like "fcuked!" wasn't satisfied at all. was screwed up. timing was wrong and etc. why? because we kan chiong. damn the kan chiong-ness. i'm just so damn wth lah. so wasn't in the mood in the first place, so wad if we are the best performance among all? i dunno how to describe how i was feeling that time on. was sorta feeling quite down at that time.

but anyway, still i can say, "its finally over." we can now restore our beauty sleeps after many days of insufficient sleep. nice job, twin bro! it's so damn cool to work with you this time round, at least now i noe who i can really work with after this long practicing with the people. looking forward to work with you next time round.

went town after concert, walked around then walked to the cathay.

watched dead silence.

after watching, went selegie road to slack around. then went paradiz center to pool. trained home afterwards.
