young designers award 2009 - third

didnt update the blog as i was too busy these few weeks. today was a big day, the grand finals for the young designers award 2009. was anticipating and excited while nervous throughout the whole competition. thank god that our journey in this competition is long and smooth, till today.

we clinched 3rd at the end of the competition, which i am not really very glad about it honestly. but nevertheless, its still an experience gained at the end of the day.

we will be attending the finale at zouk. entry via invitation only, and lucky enough, i'm able to get tickets. friends that are invited by me, do remember to mark your calendar. finale at zouk and after party at velvet. :)

had a long day in school today. after school, went to town to meet 2D friends to celebrate baoman's birthday. it was a surprise party for her. attendees were me, wendy, joyce, teeyue, hanlin, gerald, yixian and baoman herself. went to tonkichi in taka for dinner.



after dinner, went to cineleisure to watch UP movie. as i only had 2 hours of sleep the previous night, i was so tired that i slept during the beginning of the movie. lol, the show was not bad.



after movie, we trained home. photos to be uploaded once received.

got my pay. went to town alone to walk around. till late afternoon, gave rosabelle a call and meet her in town. we went to ion, the most anticipated mall everyone is looking forward before its opening. the mall is filled with designers boutique.

rosabelle and i went into the burberry shop, its like a maze inside the shop, we almost got lost. lol! afterwards went into the double storey LV shop. i would say its the most nicest LV shop in singapore.

walked all the to far east and then to plaza singapura. send rosabelle home and went back home. :)

farewell ruby

today's lessons were all short. finished school at around 3.30pm. as for today, the past 2b3 friends are gathering after school to have a farewell dinner with ruby as she's leaving the school for hongkong. met at campus 2 level 3 and walked all over to illuma, the manhattan fish market.

it was a sweet farewell dinner with ruby. hope she will like the small gift we prepared for her. :)

a long day!

18th july 09, saturday

cabbed to serangoon central mcdonald for breakfast with rosabelle. after breakfast, walked over to snip avenue to collect my membership card. after that, we cabbed to the CLUB MARC office over at the tunnery road for my interview.

as expected, interview was a success. lol, so from now, i will be working at club marc in clarke quay, central mall on the friday, saturday and sunday, starting from 24th july 09. after the interview, bused over to bencoolen and walked over to bugis.

walked around the mall and as rosabelle is rushing off to a play concert at RP, accompanied her to train over, while i alighted at bishan and headed home.

waited till night, went out with isabel, rosabelle and mingyi. cabbed over the grassland restaurant where mingyi is working, and waited for him. then we bused over to ang mo kio, planning to watch harry potter movie. but, the tickets were either sold out, or the seats were scattered around. cabbed over to PLU cafe and chilled.

walked home afterwards.

a day out with rosabelle

a day out with rosabelle to town to accompany her for job interview. hunting down the whole stretch of orchard to look for a job. from bishan trained over to orchard and walked all the way from wisma to taka, to far east and to heeren and cineleisure, then walked to dhoby ghaut to train home.

saw quite a few of jackets that i'm interested. i think i gonna buy at least 2, reserved a tee from tough jeansmith as well. anyway, saw jiachiu with her family in dhoby ghaut mrt station. rosabelle and i alighted at serangoon and as i was craving for my bubble tea, we walked to serangoon central to buy one.

walked over to basketball court to look for esther and then bused home. walked rosabelle home, and then walked all the way back home.

school is really starting soon! and i'm NOT looking forward to it.....

today's my last day in GUESS as school's starting very soon, thought over abt it and decided that i shall not continue working in GUESS. today's the last day of sales as well, busy packing up all the stocks to be transfered back to warehouse. stayed till 1045pm and bused home.

yesterday, pakcheong came to visit me and bought a jeans from me. anyway, i will be free for a week and then school will be starting. i'm so not looking forward to it. i wished holiday would be slightly longer..

bombay night with ashley, nurul and darwin

here are the pics that i, ashley, darwin and nurul went to sentosa to have dinner on 4th july, saturday. i know in some pics i look like a fking retard, just ignore me, thanks. lol. and oh ya, the food pics (buns, "fan choy" and others) this is the fking disgusting sight that we ever saw in 7eleven, basically, they just keep all the leftovers buns and steamed foods to a empty carton and kept in the the refrigerator to chill. i would assume they would reheat up the food and sell it off to customers the next day. this may be 7eleven's darkest secret. lol.

how disgusting and unhygienic it is?! peeps, pls think twice b4 purchasing any food products especially instant food like buns or whatever in 7eleven. (evania, you once said the buns are nice when you bought from the 7eleven outside our campus. lol.)

now it's 4.52am, and im still not sleeping! tmr's still got to work... turning in soon..
