has been occupied with assignments everyday. fking busy. thank god this's the last week of school and assessment will be next week. i'm still yet to sew my top, kinda worried that i wouldn't have enough time to finish everything in time.

outing with junboon

was out today with junboon at town. accompanying him to shop for his bag and slipper. but didnt buy any. went to have sliced ice at far east, not bad. then went chill at starbucks at forum shopping center, and then moved to wheelock's.

think there is a super strong wind the whole island wide. fking strong that the trees were shaking damn vigorously, leaves were swirling around. a thick trunk actually broke and bent to touch the ground and fell outside. the sight was pretty scary, was thinking might there be any disaster in singapore. lol.

went home soon after. 3 more years to go junboon! lol!

office politics in nafa

a normal thursday, coming early to school to rush textile swatch kit file. marketing presentation was great, i believed we did well. textile class was normal, preparing to head home after class. till, i went to consult ruby for my finished mock up and vik for my confirmed fabrics. what kind of sparks will there be when 2 collided? answer: hell, politics, bitching, backstabbing.

big drama broke out involving few lecturers kinda ganging against ruby doubting her professionalism. i thought it was quite disrespectful and shocked knowing lecturers which i looked up to as an living inspiration, totally destroyed my whole perspective.

i felt sorry for ruby but office politics in the fashion industry is too common. just that i didn't know it happened in school, in front of the students. i can't believe i'm paying so much to see such things.. but lecturers told me not to worry, and everything will be settled tmr.

how can i not worried? sighed.. office politics are scary.

came across this video in the net. sharing with you guys. through this video, i learned not to judge a person just through the appearance. there's always a hidden talent in every single one out there. despite of people telling you that it's impossible, press on and never give up. you will never know what's gonna happen until you've tried. :)

happy easter day 09!

happy easter day everyone! went to city harvest church for easter service today. saw a number of friends in church. a visit back to church was not bad at all. the drama was quite good. after service went to bedok to have dinner with darwin's cell group.

after school today, we met ashley at campus 1, going to chinatown to have dinner before she flys to london tmr. attendees were nurul, annie, harish, darwin, ashley and myself. bus-ed to chinatown and went to street hawker to have dinner.

food was good but i'm unable to enjoy the seafood, cos of my ear's infection. :( took few pictures with annie's camera. after dinner, walked around chinatown for a little while, and we headed home.

a day at anchorvale swimming pool

went swimming together with mingyi and isabel at sengkang anchorvale. its my first time there and im so excited about it. first, isabel and i bus-ed to sengkang to meet mingyi there. bought somw snacks at compass point and cabbed to destination.

the place there was smaller than in jurong one. but a nice recreational place in the east of singapore. while entering, met samuel from church, pos, last time there. chat for a moment. overall, the day was fun. played with the slides for quite few times.

industrial piercing, woots!

met darwin and harish at heeren. darwin went to splurge on ed hardy and fossil. i had an industrial piercing today. darwin sponsored me with $80 worth of heeren vouchers. whole piercing costs $85.

its the most painful piercing i ever had. the brow piercing wasn't as painful as the industrial one. but the pain was bearable anyway. plus the fucking needle whole was so damn thick. its like 2-3 times of the normal stud needle.

i had like 9 holes now, 4 different piercings: 2 helix piercings, 3 ear lobes piercings, 1 brow piercing and 1 industrial piercings. sighed.. i cant eat seafood now. and my ear is feeling the burning sensation now. lol.

manhunt 2009 - lost it.

today's the finals for manhunt competition. as for the styling competition, i didn't manage to win. anyway, congrats to darwin who got in first~ good job, darwin! well, kinda disappointed with myself. but overall, its a great exposure to the industry and the experiences gained. congrats to yu hao, MH13, who came in first and won the manhunt competition.

made many friends through this competition. thanks to don, my model too. thanks to whoever who came down to support and also thanks to whoever who had voted to support. all are greatly appreciated. millions of thanks. :)

sentosa with darwin and harish today. supposed ashley's joining us, but she fell sick. so didn't turn up. takecare lots man! the sun is always good when we go sentosa. pretty much enjoyed myself. life is so relaxing living by the beach.
