genting trip

day 1 of genting trip.

did not sleep for the entire night, was playing dota till morning. 4am, prepared and off to genting! :D cabbed down to golden mile to catch our coach. was pretty excited throughout. but dun like bus journey though.

day 1 were merely just walking around the hotels and plaza malls. doing some shopping and familiarizing the surroundings. had fun too. (:

this restaurant food sucks big time! services were super ulti lousy! 

they took around 10 minutes just to deliver the damn plain white rice. 

asked for more chilli, took them a mere 5-7mins. 

and they practically ignore you when you called for them. fuck!

went kbox. their kbox is literally a box where you go in and just sing your lungs out. 

its fucking 2 dollars RM per song. so fucking expensive. -.- 

but decided to try it anyway, and worst, they do not have alot of songs, but alot old songs. 

they didn't update the new songs. -.-

went starbucks. their starbucks are much more cheaper than in singapore.

day 2

theme park!!! <333

this is damn fucking wasting my time. no fun at all~

was raining half way during our visit to the theme park. 

back to first world plaza to take shelter.

went to try archery. was fun. imma pro~ hahaha. :D

was feeling hungry after theme park, went sushi king for dinner. 

i love japanese food. (: 

their service was good, they chat with us throughout our dinner even.

back to hotel. was tired after whole day playing the theme park.

day 3

last minute shopping spree before returning to singapore.

back to singapore, having mixed feelings. 

again back to work, the urban and hectic life. 

anyway, enjoyed the whole genting trip. 

should i come back for the service? hell no.

coming back for the fun? probably yes.

hoping to go with friends this coming jan. :)

today is the first day i went back to work again. will be working in TOUGH JEANSMITH. visit me, my friends, if you happens to pass by. (: 

anyway, was browsing through the past entries and looking back what happened in my life. while reading the entries, one particular content caught my attention and i realized i have not completely forgotten about you.

and i thought i did. i wanted to forget you, but it never comes to past. looking at your entries, though you seems to be leading a happy life now, which i should be happy about, but somehow i felt ache in my heart. the past scars that left behind begins to hurt once again.

i'm sorry but i couldn't help and control to feel this way. i do admit up to these days, i still thinks of you now and then. 

though we don't talk much now and as close as before, daily, i still pray for you that you will lead a good and happy life everyday..

today's the day! assessment day! went sch earlier to meet classmates. first time we are having a class gathering. was quite excited about it. class gathering was just an excuse, the purpose was to celebrate our dear darwin and ashley's birthdays.

process in getting everyone together was hard, but pretty much satisfied with the final outcome. though some could not make it, but i'm pretty sure everyone did enjoy the moment although it was just a short one.

thank god for this class, for this classmates, that i'm able to meet so many wonderful people. so, the celebration was meant to be a surprise, i hope it do. lol. anyways, after lunch, went down to get the cake and start lighting up and sang birthday songs for the 2 birthday babies.

cut, ate, and it's one o'clock, walked back to sch and prepare for assessment. everyone was nervous, but i'm pretty sure our class did well. (: (ashley, do hope ur birthday wish come true huh, haha)

was in the holding room waiting for each turns, passed around birthday cards for the class to sign, but was so sneaky because we wouldn't want ashley and darwin to see it. but somehow, ashley managed to peek into hers. -.=''

anyway, assessment was fine. all sacrifices made in the semester was worth it. now deserves a long break and rest. :DD 

to sum it up, wonderful day with wonderful moments. (: holidays finally. happy holidays peeps! pictures to be up soon after getting from ashley. (forgot to take group photos)

Attack of the white tigers

Malaysian worker dies after being attacked by white tigers at zoo

SINGAPORE: A Malaysian contract worker died after being attacked by three white tigers at the Singapore Zoo on

Thursday.

The worker has been identified as Nordin Bin Montong. The 32—year—old had jumped into a moat at the White Tiger exhibit and was subsequently attacked by the white tigers.

The commotion attracted the attention of nearby zoo keepers who went into the exhibit to distract the tigers in order to rescue Nordin.

Police said they received a report at 12.30pm about a man sustaining neck injuries at the zoo. Paramedics were called to the scene and Nordin was pronounced dead at 12.45pm.

The police are investigating the cause of the incident. The White Tiger exhibit has been temporarily closed as a precautionary measure.

went to school today with darwin to print our PD works for accessment. while darwin's work is saved in ashley's thumbdrive, we went to meet ashley, nurul and harish in plaza singapura, spotlight.

that damn pinking shear scissor is so fucking expensive, $29.90 for a pair. in the end, no one buy it, waiting for some good samaritan to lend us or buy it. lol. was walking around plaza singapura, accompanied ashley to a hello kitty shop, he spent a total of $130 plus for just hello kitty products and instantly being one of their member. so was telling darwin, if we open a hello kitty shop, it is a sure-earn thing as we have a vip like ashley. lol.

went pastamania for lunch and walked around for a while afterwards and headed back home. 2 more days to assessments and big surprise~ :D

had a haircut over at REDS Hairdressing in plaza singapura. their service was ultimate awesome! total gem services and professional. 

had a cropped and undercut hairstyle, which is super short. then went to buy fabrics for my product development.

went to school to meet darwin and gang. cabbed over and fucked that cabby uncle. so damn attitude, like i owe him something. forgot i hahd no cash with me, and he refused to drive me to any atm nearby. so called ashley and asked her to help me pay first.

so i just threw the money and got off. fuck him big time man!#^%@&#)

went plaza singapura'c TCC once again to finish up our comm skills project. accessment's coming, kinda excited for it. lol.

comm skills presentation went well today. and pattern making test today!!! was nervous for it thou coz i never studied for it. last minute asked harish to teach me. in the end, did well for it. (:

off to do my sewing then went to town to meet teeyue, yixian and gerald to celebrate gerald's birthday before he report for national service. hanlin was late, so went to far east to walk around, wisma to have our dinner at the new cafe located at the 3rd level.

walked over to cineleisure to meet hanlin. went vol.ta to buy a military jacket. they're having a 30% end season sale storewide, which i posted on an earlier entry. oh ya, met ashley in cine, suddenly out of nowhere, "rodney!". dont have to shout my name in the public deyy... got me a shock.

ok, that's shock number 1. we decided to slack and chill around serangoon area. so went teeyue's place and she drove us to serangoon, sending yixian home and picking joyce up. drove to serangoon garden chomp chomp to have supper. order many food and enjoying.

met cheryl (fmm1b1) there. she ran behind me and shocked me, tapping me from behind and shouted "rodneyyy!", walau, kena shocked 2 times! i call her a gorilla. haha! then afterwards, went to newly opened PLU cafe along yio chu kang road. nice place for chilling and spend the midnight.

we drink, drank and not drunk. cheryl and her friends went there to chill too. we obviouslt making alot of noises there, enjoying ourselves. lol. went home around 3am. thanks teeyue for sending us home. (:

happy deepavali! 

i'm so addicted to viwawa mahjong now. haha. this is my avatar.

anyway, was suppose to meet up for comm skills and textile project today together with darwin, harish and shaun. so as it is deepavali, harish got to meet his family friends for lunch and such could not make it, while shaun is still sleeping, we decided to cancel today's meeting.

watched saw 5 today. nice movie. rated 3.5 stars out of 5.

fall season 08 men's fashion

men's fall 2008 wardrobe must-haves

Fall fashion collections are often the more favored by consumers and are certainly my favorite. Fabrics are rich in color and texture yet made lighter for those mild fall days and can often be worn year round. And since colors are typically neutral, it makes it easy to mix and match. But more importantly, fall fashion is about layering and I love a layered look. When it gets cooler in the evenings or as the season progresses, you can throw on a sweater or jacket or both. You don't have to spend a fortune to look stylish either. The following six men's fall wardrobe must haves will not only carry you through this fall and winter but seasons to come.

#1 Cardigan 

This is not your grandfather's cardigan. It's a different kind of sweater that has a slimmer, more modern cut that you can wear at the office or on a date. It's thin enough to wear over a dress shirt and underneath a jacket. It can even be worn over your favorite tee with a pair of jeans. It's one of the most versatile items you can have in your wardrobe. Try one made out of light weight merino wool or cashmere and that has a double zipper so you unzip the bottom when you are sitting. And for an extra kick, try a cardigan with small pockets or some sort of patch on the elbows.

 

#2 Pinstriped Pants 

Pinstripes are classic. Perfect for formal or more casual occasions, the detailing on pinstriped pants spices up what otherwise might be an ordinary ensemble. It doesn't matter what you go with--navy with gray pinstripes, gray with brown pinstripes, or black with any color of pinstripe, they are all good. And for a modern look, try matching them with a fun striped shirt and/or an argyle sweater.

#3 Striped Shirts 

Every designer and manufacturer has come out with some sort striped shirt or another. Just get one. It can be worn independently with jeans, with a suit or under a sweater. Remember, fall is about layering and from bold and thick stripes to thin ones; it's a good look that you will find easy to incorporate into many ensembles.

#4 Blazer/Sports Jacket 

A cool blazer is definitely a must-have item, and the styles available really give blazers a life of their own. You can find some with patch pockets and/or elbow patches, others with big lapels and double-sided vents, but they are all a revival of retro looks. And don't forget moleskin and corduroy options which can be a less formal look than tweed. Or choose a nice wool or wool and cashmere combination with three or two buttons. Don't get to wild with color though; go for a neutral tones that can easily be worn with jeans and dressier trousers as well as a dress shirt or with a printed tee underneath. It has so much versatility.

 

#5 Flat-Front Twill Pants 

Pick up some twill flat-front pants--they are a great, simple addition which will go with just about everything. And they come in an array of colors and patterns to boot. Go for straight-legged version and whose fabric features a textured look. They are great for a night out with your friends, with anything from a turtleneck to a printed tee, or for a more casual day at the office, with a button-down shirt or a merino wool sweater.

#6 Jeans 

The last few years have seen jeans take a stronger role in the American wardrobe. And it seems every few months a new, high end jeans company pops up. I might add some of the prices these jeans are fetching are quite steep; even The Gap has a high end, pricier line. In terms of color, we've seen everything from dark to light washes, but one thing is for certain--the washed-out, worn-in look is here to stay. Since there is so much variety there is no excuse not to pick up a pair that enhances your best features. More importantly, they can be paired with just about anything. Choose well and you just can't go wrong.

mahjong session!

after school today, mahjong session with benjamin, junhao and joanne over at my house. i'm like the one giving out money to everyone. -.- lost $46 in total. benjamin big winner of the night. played from 7pm to like 5plus am, fucking long can??!

everyone was like so tired halfway through the games towards the end, quickly chiong finish the game. haha. after the games, they went home. and me off to bath and have my beauty sleep. :)
